I’m slow to get this posted, but we wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone who helped make the Garage Sale Pancake Breakfast a success. We finally got to take full advantage of the renovated Planeview Park pavilion. Looks like we grossed $362 to go toward our Air Academy Scholarship. Over 50 plates were served. And we flew 6 Young Eagles and 6 “old” eagles. It was a very nice community event.
Speaking of Young Eagles, Sid Tucker inquired and learned our Chapter 983 has flown 3,514 Young Eagles over the years. Wow!
