N74KB, which we nicknamed “Island Time,” was started in our garage in Coppell, Tx in 2008. We moved her twice and got serious about completing the build after setting up shop at Pecan Plantation (0TX1) in September 2014. A flawless first-flight on 5 March 2016 can be traced back to all the great advice and support from Technical Counsellors, Flight Advisors, and others including Mel Asbury and Michael Stephan from Chapter 168, and Don Christiansen, Martin Sutter, Damon Berry and many others from Chapter 983. And of course, the crew chief, scheduler, riveter, chef, bartender, and CEO… Miss Molly.
