Kris Jaeckle has been very active in our community for quite a few years. She has been active in the EAA Chapter and was an energetic volunteer for the Pancake Breakfasts and Annual Fly In. She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and has been battling it for 18 months. We were all happy to witness her having a dramatic improvement this past spring. This fall, she began to slide downhill. The symptoms worsened and she was put into Hospice Care about three weeks ago. Kris lost the battle and passed away last Wednesday, the 22nd of October. She was with her mother Joan and passed peacefully.
The family is working on Memorial Service plans and we will put out details as soon as they are firmed up.
