Special Program Speaker: Keith Steiner
Raised in a blue-collar family in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Keith fell in love with aviation at eight years old flying RC planes with his father. That passion and a desire to serve led him to enlist in the U.S. Army, where he built a decorated 20-year career, starting as an Electronic Warfare operator, serving with the 10th Special Forces Group, earning a Chief Warrant Officer commission in 1999, and completing combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq before retiring in 2011 as the senior SI/EW officer at USSOCOM. Keith then bootstrapped a defense tech company that integrated EW sensors onto small UAVs, growing it to 75 veteran employees before a successful acquisition in 2020. That success let him pursue his childhood dream: Keith earned his Private Pilot License in 2014, added instrument and commercial ratings through the GI Bill, and now proudly own a 57-year-old Piper Comanche, N9321P, which was lovingly restored over 2.5 years.
