David Clark DC Pro-X Headset – $375

This is an Active Noice Cancellation (ANC) headset with carry case and instruction booklet.  The Pro-X is designed to fit on the ears versus over the ears, so it has some, but limited passive noise cancellation capability.  It does provide moderate active noise cancellation in a GA piston aircraft, but it is best suited for quieter cockpits.

The earcups are still soft and pliable.  The cords are in great shape, no cuts or stress marks.  The ANC feature works as it did from day 1.  Overall, it is a lightweight and super comfortable headset suitable for many hours of continuous use. (posted 9/14/26)

Hangar Space Needed

Austin Jacobson is looking to rent hangar space for a Cessna 150. He just passed his PPL at Parker County and was at our last EAA meeting.

If you have space and would like to make a little money, please give him a call or an email. (posted 5/15/26)

Misc Stuff

I have a couple of things I don’t need.

First, a 2 year old, about 10 hours on it, factory new Marvel Schebler MA-4SPA,  P/N 10-5217,  LW-15986    $1,200

Second, about 21 years old I have 2 Light Speed ignition systems.  I’ve never used the one  with the hall effect sensor.  The one I used is the crankshaft triggered, that I took off 2 years ago.  I wished I had not removed it from my homebuilt.   Make an offer.

Last, I have most of the parts to build a Lycoming 290 GPU.  I have near 10 cylinders.

Dual Battery Tray

I built a battery tray for a friends RV10 which will accommodate 2 batteries of various sizes, and 2 solenoids. Since then I built 6 more. Three are already spoken for, but I thought I would offer them up to our own community. They will easily handle 2 Earth X batteries, and my suggestion of batteries for the 10 are Odyssey’s 925 and 625. Both can start my IO540 with 9.5:1 compression. These trays should be able to be used in any experimental where the need for two batteries exists.   (posted 1/17/23)
