Chapter Fly-In This Saturday – Volunteers Needed

This Saturday is the EAA 983 Fly-in. The weather is forecast to be sunny and hot, 94 degrees (Rain date May 14th). If you have not signed up to help with any specific position please help with the setup on Friday May 6th, at 1600. Meet at Plane View Park or the EAA 983 hangar. Many hands will make short work. Breakdown will be immediately after the fly-in.
We are still in need of people to park cars and airplanes during Fly-In. We currently have a minimum of people but because of the expected heat they will need relief.
If you are intending to drive from Pecan Plantation residence consider arriving in your golf cart. We will have a dedicated area closer to the event for golf carts. All other parking will be by the Nutcracker club house and shuttle in.
Tom Woodward and team of volunteer leads stepped up to make this event happen.  Please lend a hand!
