Another Successful Fall Fly-In is in the Books

It was a beautiful weekend, except for just a little wind on Saturday.  OK.  A LOT of wind.  Nevertheless, we had a solid turnout, and everybody pitched in to make it a great success.  We owe a lot of individuals and sponsors huge thanks for everything.  Set up, tear-down, donations, auctions, food, Young Eagles flights, “Old” Eagle flights, classic cars, parking shuttles, aircraft parking, hangar party, pancake breakfast, multiple cleanups, …

It was Dave Smith’s first time out as the Fly-In Coordinator, and he pretty much nailed it IMHO.  I’ll leave it up to Dave to try and name everyone who helped, but it seemed to me to include most of our membership roster who were in town and able.

I know I’m forgetting something!  Oh yes, photos.  Karen Gomez took a number of great shots that are now in our Gallery.  If you have any to add, please get them to me and I will post to our website.

And please be sure to thank our generous Sponsors and frequent their businesses whenever you can.
