Joined Internet services company and held several middle and upper management as well as consulting positions associated with remote data collection and high-availability data hosting until retiring in 2014.

Father was an A&P that steered me towards aviation when I was joining the military. It was a great fit. I’ve been obsessed with aviation since I was a little kid eating McDonalds in the back of my dad’s truck at the airport just watching aircraft in the pattern. I’m at a point in my life where I have the space, time, and money to build. I also got the CFOs approval and immediately starting gathering plans, tools, and making a work area.

Moved to Estes Park, Colorado in 2017 but remain an active pilot at Pecan Plantation where the Starduster is kept and flown to this day.

It was the biggest thrill of my life. I also owned a Citabria in the early 2000’s.	I’m originally from Maryland. I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1984. I then spent 20 years in the USAF flying the F-4G and F-16C all over the world. I retired in 2004 and went to work at Southwest Airlines. After 30 years in Glendale, Arizona we bought an airpark home at Driftwood Ranch (XA86) in Weatherford and have been here since January 2024. I’ve been married to Lisa for 37 years and we have two children.
